Why?

Before starting a blog, I thought long and hard about the pros and cons. It's not as if my life is so interesting that I feel others must hear about our comings and goings. It's not as if I'm full of sage advice and fantastic ideas. Motherhood is an intensely personal and solitary journey, however, and it really helps to have other moms around for support. Today, mothers meet in cyberspace the same way they once met over fences in the backyard or around their kitchen tables. The chat now takes place online. Blogging is simply about joining the conversation.
